JOURNAL TEMPLATE
Peer Review Process
Manhajuna: Jurnal Hukum Islam dan Fiqih Kontemporer implements a double-blind peer review policy, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential. Each manuscript is reviewed by two reviewers with expertise relevant to the subject area of the article to ensure an objective assessment of its scientific quality.
This journal applies a systematic review and publication procedure with the following stages:
Stage 1
Manuscripts submitted by authors will receive an acknowledgement of receipt within 12–24 hours after submission through the journal system.
Stage 2
The manuscript will be sent to two reviewers without including the author’s name and affiliation (double-blind review). The review process takes a maximum of two weeks.
Stage 3
Review reports from the reviewers are collected by the editor. The editor then communicates the evaluation results to the author along with the journal’s publication policies and requirements.
Stage 4
If the manuscript is accepted with revisions, the editor will send the reviewers’ reports to the author or corresponding author along with a formal request to revise the manuscript within seven (7) days in accordance with the reviewers’ suggestions.
The revised manuscript will be returned to the same reviewers to assess the adequacy of the revisions. If the manuscript is evaluated again with the same result or shows no significant improvement, it will be rejected definitively and will not proceed to the next stage.
However, if the revisions are very minor or show significant improvement, the Editorial Board may consider the manuscript for further revision stages.
Stage 5
Manuscripts that are accepted will be processed for publication in soft copy form after all journal requirements and conditions have been fulfilled.
Stage 6
Proofreading: The editor sends the processed manuscript to the proofreading team for linguistic and technical review.
Stage 7
Copy Editing: The proofread manuscript is sent to the author for final checking prior to publication.
Stage 8
The article is published online. The editor will notify the author or corresponding author regarding the publication along with the download link. Authors may request corrections to the published article within one week from the online publication date, limited to changes of critical importance.
