Abstract

Pembentukan karakter peserta didik menjadi isu mendesak di tengah perubahan sosial-digital yang memunculkan tantangan moral, seperti lemahnya kedisiplinan, menurunnya adab komunikasi, perundungan, dan perilaku akademik yang kurang jujur. Artikel ini bertujuan menganalisis konsep dan implementasi manajemen pendidikan Islam dalam membentuk karakter peserta didik melalui keterpaduan fungsi perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan pengawasan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan desain studi kasus pada lembaga pendidikan Islam. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi nonpartisipan, wawancara semi-terstruktur, catatan lapangan, dan studi dokumentasi terhadap kurikulum, tata tertib, buku kendali ibadah, serta program pembiasaan sekolah. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan, serta diperkuat dengan koding terbuka dan koding aksial untuk menemukan tema utama. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen pendidikan Islam efektif membentuk karakter melalui integrasi nilai akhlak dalam kurikulum, keteladanan guru, pembiasaan religius, budaya 5S, salat berjamaah, literasi Al-Qur’an, dan pengawasan kolaboratif bersama orang tua. Temuan ini berkontribusi pada penguatan model tata kelola karakter berbasis nilai Islam yang operasional dan dapat direplikasi secara terbatas. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pendidikan karakter perlu dikelola sebagai sistem kelembagaan yang konsisten, terukur, dan kolaboratif. Penelitian selanjutnya disarankan menguji model ini pada beberapa sekolah Islam dengan pendekatan longitudinal.
