MODERNISASI MANAJEMEN KURIKULUM DALAM PERSPEKTIF PEMIKIRAN PENDIDIKAN MUHAMMAD ABDUH: ANALISIS KONSEP DAN IMPLIKASINYA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan modernisasi manajemen kurikulum dalam perspektif pemikiran pendidikan Muhammad Abduh, serta implikasinya bagi praktik pengelolaan kurikulum di Indonesia. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah studi kasus kualitatif, yang memungkinkan penelitian untuk mengeksplorasi fenomena dalam konteks pendidikan Islam. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara semi-terstruktur, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi dengan melibatkan 10 informan yang dipilih melalui purposive sampling dari madrasah dan pesantren di Jawa dan Sumatra. Temuan utama penelitian ini mencakup tiga tema: pertama, integrasi nilai-nilai Islam dengan ilmu pengetahuan modern; kedua, kendala dalam praktik manajerial kurikulum yang terperangkap dalam tradisi birokratis; dan ketiga, pembaruan metode pembelajaran berbasis teknologi yang masih terbentur oleh kesenjangan digital. Temuan ini mengonfirmasi pentingnya modernisasi manajerial yang lebih fleksibel, penguatan kapasitas kepemimpinan pendidikan, serta peningkatan kompetensi teknologi bagi guru untuk mengoptimalkan implementasi kurikulum berbasis nilai-nilai agama dan sains. Penelitian ini berkontribusi dalam memperdalam pemahaman tentang penerapan pemikiran Muhammad Abduh dalam konteks kurikulum pendidikan Islam, dan memberikan saran untuk penelitian lebih lanjut tentang pengaruh pelatihan teknologi guru dalam pendidikan Islam di Indonesia.
