Copyright Transfer Agreement

Tamtin: The Journal of Community Empowerment and Service

For the purpose of publication and dissemination of scholarly articles, the editors of Tamtin: The Journal of Community Empowerment and Service require publishing rights to be transferred from the author(s) to the publisher. This agreement concerns the transfer of copyright in the form of a publishing license, while authors retain substantial rights over their scholarly work.

Tamtin: The Journal of Community Empowerment and Service upholds the principles of open access and encourages authors to widely disseminate their research outputs to enhance academic and societal impact. Accordingly, authors retain the right to use and share their published articles for academic and non-commercial purposes.

As an author publishing in this journal, you retain the following rights:

  • To use the article in lectures, presentations, seminars, or conferences, and to distribute copies to participants;
  • To share the article with colleagues for research purposes;
  • To include the article in future works authored by you, such as books or compilations;
  • To incorporate the article into a thesis or dissertation;
  • To reuse parts or excerpts of the article in other works, provided full citation of the original publication is given;
  • To create derivative works for non-commercial purposes, with appropriate acknowledgment of the original publication;
  • To post the article on personal websites, institutional repositories, or academic platforms for scholarly purposes.

Authors submitting manuscripts to Tamtin: The Journal of Community Empowerment and Service acknowledge that, if the manuscript is accepted for publication, the publishing rights of the article will be transferred to the journal.

Authors whose manuscripts are accepted for publication will receive confirmation via email and will be requested to download, sign, and submit the Copyright Transfer Agreement form as part of the publication process.
