The Journal of Community Empowerment and Service is a blind peer-reviewed, independent, and open-access academic journal published by Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Tarbiyah Buntet Pesantren. The journal is published twice a year, in February and August.

The scope of Tamtin includes studies on community empowerment and community service in the social, religious, educational, environmental, economic, and cultural sectors. The journal aims to disseminate conceptual ideas, scholarly perspectives, and research findings in the fields of community service and community development in Indonesia. Through this publication, Tamtin seeks to contribute to the advancement of knowledge and practices that support sustainable community development and social transformation.
