Abstract

This study aims to determine a critical study of the literacy of character education values
in the Book of Morals Lil Banin by Sheikh Umar bin Ahmad Baraja at the Al Faqih
Babakan Islamic Boarding School Ciwaringin Cirebon. This research approach is
descriptive qualitative with Library research. The data collection was taken from the
analysis of primary sources from the book of Akhlak Lil Banin at the Al Faqih Babakan
Islamic Boarding School, Ciwaringin, Cirebon. In the book of Akhlak Lil Banin by
Sheikh Umar Bin Ahmad Baraja there are many values of character education of a
teacher and student and a very high value of moral nobleness. The values of character
education in the Book of Akhlak Lil Banin by Sheikh Umar bin Ahmad Baraja at Pondok
Pesantren Al Faqih Babakan Ciwaringin Cirebon include: first, religious. Second,
third, the mandate. Fourth, do good to parents. Fifth, manners. sixth, tolerance, seventh,
discipline, eighth, responsibility, ninth, ihsan, ninth, benefactor. Ten, humble. eleven,
love the environment.
