Abstract

Pendidikan Islam di era kontemporer menghadapi tantangan sosial yang semakin kompleks, sementara praktik Manajemen Pendidikan Islam (MPI) masih cenderung didominasi oleh pendekatan teknokratis-administratif dan normatif-simbolik. Kondisi ini menyebabkan rendahnya sensitivitas sosial lembaga pendidikan Islam serta lemahnya peran pendidikan Islam sebagai instrumen transformasi sosial. Artikel ini bertujuan menganalisis dan merumuskan kerangka konsep Manajemen Pendidikan Islam Responsif Sosial melalui perspektif Studi Islam Sosio-Humaniora.

Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi pustaka ( library study ) yang bersifat konseptual analitis. Data diperoleh dari literatur Studi Islam klasik dan kontemporer, artikel jurnal Manajemen Pendidikan Islam dalam sepuluh tahun terakhir, serta dokumen kebijakan pendidikan Islam yang relevan. Analisis data dilakukan melalui analisis isi yang dipadukan dengan pendekatan interpretatif-kritis dan sintesis konteks.

Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi pendekatan sosio-humaniora ke dalam MPI melahirkan paradigma manajemen pendidikan Islam yang berbasis keadilan, inklusivitas, empati sosial, dan keberpihakan pada kemanusiaan. Pendekatan ini menggeser orientasi fungsi manajemen perencanaan, pengorganisasian, kepemimpinan, dan pengawasan dari efektivitas efektivitas administratif menuju manajemen yang kontekstual dan transformatif. Artikel ini berkontribusi secara teoritis pada paradigma pengembangan MPI dan secara praktis memberikan referensi bagi madrasah, pesantren, dan sekolah Islam dalam memperkuat peran sosial lembaga pendidikan Islam, khususnya dalam isu moderasi beragama, keadilan sosial, serta krisis kemanusiaan dan ekologi.
